SUMMARY:IHIF: International Hotel Investment Forum
DESCRIPTION:The meeting of global collaboration\nOver 2\,300 delegates from over 80 countries gathered at the InterContinental Hotel in Berlin for the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF). This marked the largest delegation in the events 21-year history and feedback from delegates as they left was that this was the best and most productive IHIF to date. This year also brought 80 sponsoring companies supporting and exhibiting during the event and over 800 companies represented across the conference. \nOver 200 speakers shared their expertise at IHIF\, including 36 hospitality CEOs. The programme content gave insights on all aspects of hospitality investment and management\, with 3 general sessions\, a pre-conference workshop\, 23 breakout sessions\, 6 in-the-round sessions\, and a brand new programme of discussions\, masterclasses and demos in the Hotel Tech Hub. New themes covered on the programme included F&B\, serviced apartments\, wellness\, security\, data management\, as well as the key markets of Italy\, Germany\, France and Greece. \nThe theme for this year’s forum; Reaching New Heights\, was present throughout the conference programme and the exhibition space\, including the new Tech Hub. The Tech Hub was created to reflect the consistently changing nature of the industry and provided an innovative space for the hospitality industry’s leading minds to discover the latest in technology and data solutions to progress their business. \nAs always\, emerging talent and commitment to the hospitality industry was recognised and the IHIF 2018  Young Leader award was presented to Tina Yu\, Senior Vice President at KSL Capital Partners and we were honoured to present the IHIF 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award to Adrian Zecha. \nContinue to follow IHIF on Twitter @IHIF_News and use #IHIF2018 to stay up to date with the latest news from the leading annual meeting place for the industry.
